The Panda butterfly is also known as the black-faced butterfly in Taiwan. When frightened or at night, the body color will turn brown, which is a major characteristic of the panda butterfly. Panda butterflies in the wild mainly rest in waters between 3 and 25 meters deep in coral reef areas.
