Morphological Characteristics of the Striped Spring Lizard
Striped Spring Lizard

The striated spring lizard is like a reduced version of a crocodile, and its shape and characteristics are basically the same. The striped spring lizard is a diurnal crawler and usually rests mainly on the edges of forests, grasslands or coasts.
The body shape is 15-27 cm in length. The male lizard has black stripes on its eyes and green hands and feet. The back has a red background color and is dotted with many white freckles. The body color of the female lizard is mainly brown. When the original species is in an excited state or running away, its tail is bent like a spring and held high above the body, hence its name.
