Jack Russell Terrier (confirmed introduction)
The ideal male Jack Russell Terrier should be 14 inches tall at the withers. Ideally, an adult female dog should be 13 inches tall at the withers. The appearance of this dog is very similar to the Chinese native dog. It is difficult for people who have not known this dog to distinguish it as a breed of dog.
Morphological characteristics
Head
The expression is caring, straightforward, full of vitality and intelligence.
Eyes are almond-shaped, dark in color, of average size and not oversized. Eye circles and dark complexion.
Button ears, flat head, fairly wide between ears, gradually narrowing toward the eyes. The stop chakra is clear but not beyond. The left and right jaws are both full and powerful.
The nose is black and full of pigment.
Teeth are large and close together, forming a perfect scissor bite.
Body
The neck is clean and muscular, slightly arched, of moderate length, gradually broadening towards the shoulders. Topline thick, straight, slightly arched at the waist.
Body - Length is proportional to height at withers, similar to a square, evenly proportioned. Chest narrow and of dull depth, chest powerful without being heavy, flexible and compact. The ribs are strong and not deep enough to reach the elbows. Tail set high.
Shoulders long and sloping, well integrated into the back. The claws are round, like cat claws, very close together, and the pads are thick and hard. The toes are excessively arched and do not turn in or out.
The hindquarters are thick and muscular, smooth, with plenty of bone, the stifle joints are at a good angle, and the hock joints are close to the ground and perpendicular to each other, providing propulsion on the trail. The claws are connected with the forelimbs.
The flat hair is rough and can protect against harsh weather. Flat but thick, deep, abundant hair, belly and thighs not exposed. The shag hair is rough and strong and protects against harsh weather conditions. The undercoat is short and deep, and the thick, straight coat closely wraps the body and legs.
Except for eyebrows and beard, everything is clear. The belly and underside of the thighs were not exposed. The face is white with black or brown patterns, or a combination of the three colors.
